Manish Makhijani is part of the leadership team of Unilever’s People Data Centre – the leading edge insights facility within the CMI function. He has worked for about 24 years in research and insights (17 out of that have been with Unilever) in different parts of the world (Thailand, Singapore and London) working on different categories and brands. He has been part of leadership teams of different categories and markets in these roles integrating consumer insights with the business strategy. Manish has written various papers for ESOMAR and MRSI (Indian market research society), has been a winner of the prestigious Ginny Valentine Award and is also passionate about inducting new and fresh talent in the insights industry (has run sessions and guest lectures at different institutes around the world – from IIMs in India to London School of Economics).

Manish, a father of two teenage girls loves music, movies and food and now lives in Mumbai.
