AIC-NMIMS Incubation Centre organized a Boot Camp at NMIMS (Deemed to be University) on 28th February 2020 for the training of budding entrepreneurs & make the start-ups learn about the Business Pitch/ Business Strategy & Business Model. The audience consisted of the Top 75 Business Ideas Shortlisted in 4th Cohort incubation program at AIC-NMIMS.
The event witnessed sessions by leading business entrepreneurs and investors from Mumbai. The session started by the Introduction by Mr. Harshal Shah (CEO – AIC-NMIMS) who interacted with this top 75 start-ups and made them aware of what is an elevator pitch and how to make one. The event continued by the session of Mr. Prahlad Kakkar who spoke on the topic “Presenting a good Business Pitch” to which he shared his insights and experiences and through various examples made the session filled with knowledge and laughter which also helped start-ups validate their Business Pitch. Followed by, was a session full of motivation and energy by Mr. Pratish nair (Founder and MD- Prahlad school of Branding and Advertising) on “Entrepreneurs Never Die”. The first half of the bootcamp session concluded with a session by Mr. Neel Bhatia ( Director of Intel – Greater asia region) who interacted with the participants and spoke on the topic “Building a business strategy & Business Model” through a single word presentation provoking the thought process of each individual in the room and shared great insights on how to form a correct value proposition for your company / Brand. All the participants also engaged with the Speakers through Q & A where all their queries were answered by the industry experts themselves. The start-ups were really happy and excited to get insights from such renowned personalities.
The second half of the boot-camp session included a session by Mr. Prateek Jain & Mr. Tanay Paranjpe speaking on the fundraising support at AIC-NMIMS including the interaction between the participants and incubates at AIC-NMIMS Mr. Sandesh Mishra (Founder – Bimagarage) who shared his experience and fundraising support received from the Incubation Centre followed by this was a session by Ms. Poonam Soni speaking about the support services provided at AIC-NMIMS including interaction with Ms. Sulaksha Shetty (Founder – LIB Enterprises) & Ms. Sanskaara Lalwani (Co-founder Belboy) Incubatee at AIC-NMIMS who shared their journey at AIC-NMIMS and the various support services acquired through the Incubation Centre such as marketing/Networking/Compliances/industry connects/mentor connects etc.
The sessions were appreciated by all the start-ups which were highly knowledgeable and insightful and helped them find the loop holes in their start-ups and work over them to build more stronger start-up climbing the ladder of success.
