Brief about 25/7 Network
We have identified the need to structure and formalize the Pre Seed round. At present, access to capital at the very early stage is usually limited to friends and family. Through the 25/7 Network, we want to make the process more egalitarian, providing deserving entrepreneurs access to capital to grow propel their Startup. Creating a robust early stage entrepreneurial community will go a long way towards nation building. The 25/7 Network hopes to bring together Successful Entrepreneurs, Corporate Executives, Venture Capitalists, Senior Professionals& so on.
How does it work?
The 25/7 Network brings together Successful Entrepreneurs, Corporate Executives, Venture Capitalists, Senior Professionals and a whole host of HNIs.
AIC NMIMS has created a unique investment proposition to acquire equity stake in early stage startups. As these startups are in their infancy, we strongly believe that they should not spend unwarranted time on fund raising, but much rather allocate their time and resources toward ensuring the growth of the startup.
25/7 Investment Thesis
Based on prevailing market trends, we have standardized the investment terms:
- INR 25 Lakhs (seed fund) for 7% equity dilution of the company for our early stage startups.
- We allow a minimum investment amount of INR 5 Lakhs per investor, thereby allowing potential investors to pool money.
- We provide standardized term sheets and other documentation to shorten the time between preliminary investor interests to the actual closing of the round.
Given the risks associated with early stage startup investments, the lower investment threshold will allow investors to hedge risk by investing into multiple startups.
